I am a writer and communications specialist. I’m the co-owner of Villeray Communications, a web design and communications start-up. I’m lucky in that writing has - at last - become my bread and butter, as well as my ongoing passion.
I freelance write for The Edmonton Journal and other publications, while harbouring dreams of also publishing fiction one day. My short story, The Comforts of Life, was semi-finalist in the 2008 Summer Literary Seminars contest, organized by The Walrus, Maisonneuve, and Herzen University in St-Petersburg (Russia!)
My communications work has taken me to the National Film Board of Canada, Bain Magique, the Alberta Alcohol and Drug Abuse Commission, the Alberta Teachers’ Association, and the Alberta Liberal Opposition. I now live and work in Montreal.
