I grew up in a small logging community in Northern California, the same town that my father was born and raised in and the same one my mother still lives in. In 2002, I graduated from Lassen High School and moved to Ontario, Oregon to attend Treasure Valley Community College to persue a degree in Animal Science. 

 Besides writing I also enjoy taking western photography, painting, doing custom leatherwork, big game hunting, and fishing.
