I wrote my first book in the third grade.  It was a complete knock off of Star Wars written on Mead notebook paper and stapled together, but I liked it.  I placed it on the classroom bookshelf for everyone to read. 

I currently live in a suburb of Augusta, GA where I was born and raised.  I spent a handful of years on the Central Coast of California.  It is the most beautiful place on the planet.  If you ever have the chance, I recommend spending a few weeks there.

I have been married to my wife Elsa for almost 18 years and she along with my two children still support this crazy dream I have of writing.  They have been listening to the story of Tilman, Josh, Lynn and Charity for almost 15 years now.

I began A Bottle of Dreams as a short story in a creative writing class during my second Junior Year at Augusta State University, under Dr. Willig.  He was an incredible man and professor.  The world is a sadder place without him.  While working through the revisions, I decided it would make a better screenplay.  I finished it and sent it to a few people who I thought might enjoy it.  The only problem was that it was not finished.  During the numerous rewrites, I decided there was just too much story for 90 minutes of film and started over again as a novel romance, not a romance novel.  I hope you enjoy the story.  I think it was time for this one to be told.
