I call Louisiana “home,” though I was born in Korea and now live in Maryland. As a “military brat,” I grew up traveling throughout Europe and the United States. I spent most of my high school years in Louisiana and, after one year of college, I joined the army and ended up in Maryland. I later pursued a bachelor’s degree in business and an MBA with concentrations in finance and marketing from Mount St. Mary’s University. I’ve worked in the finance and housing industry for over a decade.
Always an avid reader, I also put my imagination to work writing poetry and short stories in my youth. Now me and my husband have two teenage daughters, and it was my girls’ inspiration that led me to once again pick up my pen and begin setting the stories of my imagination to paper.
