Chapter 1:- Little Mermaid
Aikotoba

Their mouths chattered, they looked as if they were mines, entertaining with the same gestures.

My own self denied their words.

I only understood their faces, and gestures, but not had attempted to reply to them.

Every single bit of movements made me wonder...

Why do they smile?
It made me feel like crying.

I too, wanted to smile.

Yet I had not found a reason to. No one would even tell me to.

Even if they had pleaded for a little smile, i could not respond, knowing I could not hear them.

My body stood away from the crowd,  stepping away from the huddled girls who, everyday, touched me in some way.

I made my way out of that vile classroom, only to find myself stuck out on the rooftop.

I sat and laid on the floor.

I spoke some words, yet I had no idea what they sounded like.

Lifting my right hand to the blue clear sky, my index finger wrote the words...

\" Aikotoba. \" a voice whispered in my ear.

I sat up swiftly, looking around the area. The door he left shut was open.

Another must have followed me in my secret spot. I stood up, patting the dirt off as a walked over to the door, walking through it shutting the door and into his classroom downstairs.

The clouds trembled, from clear to an amazing shade of white to near death colored clouds.

The rain has made it to my path.
As soon as the bell rang, I grabbed mu bag off to walk home. Just then, I heard the same voice.
Male? Female? I\'ve never heard either voices. Although there were people crowded under a shelter, I only heard that voice.

Why? Why do I hear only one? The voice had came closer. It sounded as if it were giggling, talking to someone else. I ha felt a heavy hit on my chest.

I looked down, she had bumped herself into me.

She hadn\'t spoke, or at least hadn\'t moved her lips. She bowed of apology to me, yet I had ignored her. I needed to find that voice.

At times like these, it was like little mermaid, losing her voice and I had been the prince, looking for her.

I heard the last words I heard from her today. She sounded like she was a little hurt. I wonder what had happened.

Today, I finally heard someone. Someone who was there, and found me.
