The story of the apocalypse
through a Japanese high school student's eyes.
The final days are counting down.
A story of what's truly important in life and how to fight for it.
[Based off the detailed accounts of high school student, Maho Itami, this story is created to replay the last years of Planet Earth.]
"Another brilliant cell phone novel from takatsu." - Subscriber
"All around, ear-piercing sirens exploded.
It was so high pitched, I couldn't tell if I screamed or not.
Then, it started.
The ground started shaking."
My second Japanese style cellphone novel project. I hope I can bring an original take to the apocalypse, or at least give readers a different experience through an authentic Japanese cellphone novel approach.
Chapter 139:- Comfort
"Hey, what are you writing for your career sheet?"
I asked Shin one night, fiddling with my pencil.
In high school, we were expected to think about our future after we graduate.
Everyone dreaded these forms, and certainly,
many of us had no idea what to write.
Most of these reports returned almost blank canvases,
except for a few vague words.
But for the last year of high school,
these weighed heavily on our shoulders.
Despite the ample amount of time,
the deadline was drawing closer and I still had no idea.
"I'm thinking of going to study photography and journalism."
"Really??" I expected that he would say he needed to work full-time.
He smiled at me and touched my cheek.
"You've taught me that I have a future and that the world can still be beautiful."
