The story of the apocalypse
through a Japanese high school student's eyes.
The final days are counting down.
A story of what's truly important in life and how to fight for it.
[Based off the detailed accounts of high school student, Maho Itami, this story is created to replay the last years of Planet Earth.]
"Another brilliant cell phone novel from takatsu." - Subscriber
"All around, ear-piercing sirens exploded.
It was so high pitched, I couldn't tell if I screamed or not.
Then, it started.
The ground started shaking."
My second Japanese style cellphone novel project. I hope I can bring an original take to the apocalypse, or at least give readers a different experience through an authentic Japanese cellphone novel approach.
Chapter 199:- Darkness
Nothing had been a worse nightmare.
I had never been this scared before.
The fear that ate you alive.
Every second of the day,
that wound up your nerves,
and numbed your mind.
Maybe it might be better not to live.
I never had a chance to even think about Shin.
Or my parents. Or anyone back in Tokyo.
Those petty arguments or my most cherished memories,
our tears, our worries, our laughter,
what I thought was a nightmare,
even when Shin's father had passed away
and we had cried together,
even when the girl told me to stay away from Shin,
even when I was nearly raped,
all was nothing compared to this.
Everything else was washed away.
The fear was so much that my memories of it all,
was blurry, confused, lost.
