The story of the apocalypse
through a Japanese high school student's eyes.
The final days are counting down.
A story of what's truly important in life and how to fight for it.
[Based off the detailed accounts of high school student, Maho Itami, this story is created to replay the last years of Planet Earth.]
"Another brilliant cell phone novel from takatsu." - Subscriber
"All around, ear-piercing sirens exploded.
It was so high pitched, I couldn't tell if I screamed or not.
Then, it started.
The ground started shaking."
My second Japanese style cellphone novel project. I hope I can bring an original take to the apocalypse, or at least give readers a different experience through an authentic Japanese cellphone novel approach.
Chapter 36:- Spring Wind
We managed to find what needed after spending most of our time talking.
Nagasaki-san was thinking about selling the shop.
Unless his son would take it over, he was much too old to stay in the store every day.
We knew he had back pains for years, that even sitting would be an issue.
But his son had his eyes set on becoming a doctor and would be moving to Fukuoka.
It was sad that he didn't quite have a family left in Tokyo.
I had suggested that we could help with the shop.
However, he insisted he didn't want to trouble us.
That was the kind of person he was,
taking all the burdens upon himself.
Perhaps, that's the kind of person I would like to be.
I knew I wanted to help others.
But how, I wasn't so sure.
"Hey, let's drop off our stuff and go get lunch." She said.
"Then shopping after!"
"Shopping again? Don't you run out of money?" I laughed.
