The story of the apocalypse
through a Japanese high school student's eyes.
The final days are counting down.
A story of what's truly important in life and how to fight for it.
[Based off the detailed accounts of high school student, Maho Itami, this story is created to replay the last years of Planet Earth.]
"Another brilliant cell phone novel from takatsu." - Subscriber
"All around, ear-piercing sirens exploded.
It was so high pitched, I couldn't tell if I screamed or not.
Then, it started.
The ground started shaking."
My second Japanese style cellphone novel project. I hope I can bring an original take to the apocalypse, or at least give readers a different experience through an authentic Japanese cellphone novel approach.
I hesitated, normally, I was no brave soul
but desperation took over.
Since school started,
there had not been a day without Shin;
his tall presence that I could only look up to,
barely reaching his chest; his steady confidence,
a gentle promise that it would be okay with him.
It would be okay right?
My heart was pounding as I slipped inside,
scanning the interior frantically.
It was dark inside,
shadows long and deep,
curtains closed shut.
There was an ominous feeling creeping up on me,
and conveniently, there was a baseball bat near the door,
that I awkwardly tried to wield in one hand.
