Chapter 1:- Bedtime Story
Watching through the window of this forgotten home
A little child is crying alone.
Forgotten toys lie lifeless on the floor
Just waiting to be hold.
Hopeless tears just flow away
On that little child’s face.
‘What’s wrong? What’s wrong?’A turtle toy said.
‘I don’t want to be alone!
I don’t want to be forgotten!
All I want to do is leave, feel free,
And just be who I want to be.’
‘You can just go where you want,
You can visit castles, islands..’
‘Can I do it? Can I shine?
Can I even fly?’
‘Yes,you can,just take my hand
And I’ll help you feel free,
Grow beautiful wings,and leave.’
‘But you’re just a toy,
You can’t even walk.’
‘Do you wonder how can I even talk?’
‘Yes,I do,but I wonder,if my wish will ever come true,
If you’ll become that little prince
That’ll change me in a princess,
Wear a nice dress ,be surrounded by all people?’
‘I can do it all and more,
Things you’ve never dreamed before ,
You’ll grow wings and get to fly.’
‘Will you still be by my side?’
‘Yes,I will. I’ll be the boy
That will guide you all the way.’
‘Never leave me stuck behind?
Always tell me how and why?’
‘Always,always, I promise you.’
And then the little turtle toy
Started glowing and growing
Until it became that beautiful prince
We can all see today
And together they travelled
Over mountains and seas,
Until the little girl woke up .
‘Was it just a dream? ‘ She asked.
‘No,my princess,it was not.’
And the young boy closely came.
He seemed older,
But his voice,was like before,
Then that little girl knew,
She was nothing like before.
That little dark forgotten home
Was no longer like before.
It was cozy,nice and grand.
And once she got off the bed,
Looked around then in the mirror,
The young boy from behind said:
‘ You look beautiful in that dress.’
She blushed and turned to him, then said:
‘That turtle toy I travelled with,
Was it you,my dear prince?’ she blushed some more.
He ,silent,came and hugged her
And silently again,he kissed her.
