Have you ever noticed even when your children drive you bonkers that around their birthdays and also at Christmas time all you seem to do is think of them? I think it's nuts they control us pretty much without even knowing they are doing it. I can be so angry at the way my kids act, but yet I go crazy over shopping for them always looking for that perfect gift. There are sometimes I dread being around them yet I go crazy when they aren't around. All I ever do is think of them and wonder do they miss me like I miss them. The most perfect gift a person can have is the gift of parenthood. We all brag about our kids and find everything about them perfect (maybe not their attitude but everything else). We work our rears off to support them and to be able to buy them great things, yet they never seem to listen. Do we think twice about doing it? No, we never think at all ... we just do it. Our children would love to know that they control us this way, but are we gonna tell them?  Hell no. All we tell them is when they have kids they'll give them the same hell they gave us. Children are a wonderful gift to have, and I wouldn't change my life for all the money in the world. So, if you have children and grandchildren, you should thank God everyday, for even though we are wrapped around little fingers We Are Truly Blessed
