I stand in shadows

for fear of light

I know you're out there

Lost in the night



My eyes are clouded

By hate and fear

I'm lost without you

Without you near



I'm trapped within

A room-no doors

Walled inside it

My own captor



I see your face

A blinding light

I know a way

To flee the night



But the shadows call me

They are my home

Trapped without you

At last alone.
