Chapter 1:- Encounter
"I'm sorry but I have to feed and your the most appetizing thing out here..." The boy started backing away, sweat drenched around his smooth face. He was about 16 and had a younger brother who he bullied. Well, you're welcome younger brother. I walked over like a blur and grabbed a hold at his shoulders. In one swift movement, I pushed him against the tree trunk, hidden away, and bit into the warm skin on his neck. I took only a small amount until I lay him on the ground and scratched his face a little. Anyone normal would think he tripped, anyone like me would smile, a vampire. I turned and ran off, the wind sweeping against my soft chestnut brown hair, until, someone grabbed me and pulled me down. I kicked my legs and tried screaming, but this thing is strong. Or better yet someone. I waited, quietly listening to whatever he was hearing until he let me go free.
"What. The. Hell. Were you trying to rape me or something!" He started to laugh, softly then louder, as if he thought he would ever rape me.
"Sure as hell I won't." He held out a hand, which I took until he pushed me against a tree, the force hard. "So, what level vampire are you?" I looked at him, like really looked and he just kept staring.
"Level Night." He grinned and let me escape from his little hell hole.
"I knew you were a Princess! What family?" I sighed but answered his question.
"Cross, alright?" He stiffened for a second but kept the stupid smirk on his face.
"What's your power?" He asks, getting annoying.
"None of your business, that's my power."
"So, your a Past and Future reader?" I gasp at the right guess but stare at him.
"So your one of those privacy fondlers. Now can you leave me alone?" I spit back but he smiles again and walks toward me, making the huge gap between us tinier and tinier.
"Just one request." I stare at him, an eyebrow raised. He reaches over and cups my face, my cheeks burning in rage. "How about you read our future?" In one swift movement, I send my hand towards his cheek and move away from him.
"Like I'd ever want you." I started walking, the way to my house until he spoke out.
"Cmon baby, you know you want this." I smiled but kept a straight face. How cute. How not.
"I'm home!" I called out as I stepped into the castle/gigantic house.
"EVALINE!" I heard. My little sister, Annabeth, ran over to me, her landing hurting alot. But Annie is only 8 and with that much power already? She's gonna be strong as she gets older. I picked her up and smiled at her, she was like a fragile doll.
"Oh Annie, your so adorable!" My brother says. I growled at my brother's mimicking voice and set Annie down and turned to Conrad, his dirty blonde colored hair covering his green eyes.
"Ready?" He asks.
"Uh duh." I answer. He runs toward me, planning to stab me with the sharp knife in his hand. I slid to the side and kicked his hand, the knife sliding across the floor.
"You're faster." He says. I kick my leg up, reaching his face until he catches my foot.
"Faster reflexes." I say. He grins and turns my foot, making me flip over and land on the floor. I grab a hold of his ankles and pull, making him fall next to me.
"Tie?" He asks.
"Tie." I answer. But instead, we keep rolling around, kicking, punching and hurting each other.
"Alright, alright, break it up you two." My mother grabs us both by our collars, our legs and arms still kicking and flapping.
"Stop." My eyes start to get heavy and my whole body starts getting tired. No...not right now dad...
"You...suck..." I punch Conrad softly, my father's gift getting to me.
"You stink!..." He spits back until our backs hit each other and we slide down to the floor, sleeping.
