Chapter 1:- In heaven

When the Tudor Dynasty had reined, there had been disputes and cheating upon Earth. King Henry VIII of England and Ireland was a man that could not resist a younger and beautiful woman. For years on end Henry was tempted and tempted by all the woman around him. Never was he content to a nice life with Catherine of Aragon. No, he must have a male heir. He must.

King Henry was able to get away with all this when he was on Earth, but in Heaven? Of course, Henry tried and tried to receive indulgences, but those were only for the Roman Catholics. When he broke away from the church there was no way they would assist him.

However, a king does have his assets. After about four hundred years of learning his lesson, he was instated in heaven. Even though his years in Hell were horrible, he still had his “family” to deal with. The man with the odd hat finally left him and Henry was finally free to take in the whole aspect of Heaven. Looking around, he saw nothing besides clouds going on forever. He would learn all the mysteries later. But more importantly, where was his family? He yearned to see his mother Elizabeth and father Henry. Why were they not welcoming him yet? Were they still in Hell?

“Reunited at long last Henry.” said a voice that appeared out of nowhere. “Mary and I spotted you coming into Heaven flanked by some very noble people. It was Lincoln. Quite an honor Henry. But I’m not sure you deserve it. ” And with that Catherine of Aragon emerged from a nearby cloud.

“Catherine,” Henry took a long pause, “how…pleasant it is to see you at long last. And I know of no Lincoln. I was in Hell for the last four centuries. I have some catching up to do.”

“How silly of me. Lincoln was a president of America. I arrived by Garfield, but I heard marvelous things about him.” Ignoring the incredulous look on her former husband face she continued, “Why did you have me poisoned Henry? Why? I was never vicious or mean to you. In fact, I supplied you with a beautiful daughter that ended up reining England after your death. So really, your plan wasn’t very good.”

“Mary…ruled? I wanted Edward to… why didn’t he? What happened to England?”

“All in due time, my dear. On a different matter entirely, that evil woman Anne arrived about ten years ago. I do hate her. I was most pleased when I heard that she was beheaded. One of your better decisions. I was quite glad when I heard she spent almost as much time as you in Hell.” Catherine said dryly.

“Mother?” a voice said as Mary Tudor rounded the corner. Seeing her mother and father together startled her. “What…I thought you said…” She was unable to speak. Still looking 10 years old, about the time after being crowned Princess of Wales, she looked at her father who looked about the same age as her mother. You subconsciously choose to be a certain age in heaven, and it is mostly chosen by the happiest time of your life. Mary’s was when she was still loved and was called the “pearl of England”. Her mother’s was around the same time. As was her father’s. Amazing.

“Mary…” Henry began.

“No, father. You listen to me now. You never once listened to what you and that Anne Boleyn did to me. Never. And now, you will.”

“One minute child, I have but one question. When did you arrive here?” He asked her.

“What? What does that have anything to…nevermind. I spent 100 years waiting to come up, but compared to you and mom, that’s good.” Even know Mary still acted very childish. She had lots of things to say to that father of hers.

“But why 100 years? Mary, you never cried, you were sickly and very harmless. Why?” he asked his daughter.

“Well, let me think about this. Hmmm I wonder.” She pretended to have to think about it, “Maybe because I had my 16-year-old cousin executed. Oh, and not to mention about 285 others. You get it?” not waiting for an answer she continued, “And now, for once, you’re going to listen to my story.”
