Chapter 1:- Reminiscent
You can feel it slipping,
the liquid of a heart gone bad,
seeping through your fingers
searching for new hope
looking through the branches of barren trees
the bitter winter seems colder
a solid warm tear freezes in the frost
capturing past heartbreaks and unkempt secrets
the nooks between your fingers look sad
with no one to fill them, and to promise success
reminiscing in secret sorrows that you fear to speak
like tape over your mouth, they wont allow speech
having the aggression past through you in a single impulse
takes control of your senses, a gust of wind blowing them away
the truth and lies that bound you unravel themselves
and you somehow, find yourself free.
