Chapter 15:- Sensing
While the dormitory was ignored, the gardens of the courtyard were Mara’s guilty pleasure. When no one was around and nothing moved inside the windows that she could see, Mara would stop and touch her nose to the flowers. They stank, like the men who hired her had warned, but it was a wonderful smell. As far as she could tell, the men she knew didn’t like strong smells unless it was incense. Approaching the fence of the courtyard, Mara allowed herself a swift, silent prayer that no one else would be there, so she could be with the flowers.
