This story is wonderfully written, I havent had a chance to finish it yet, but so far I am hooked in..the feeling of wanting to know more reminds me of when I would read a Dan Brown book! Im sure that there is a grammatical faux paux in there somewhere, but I honestly havent had found anything to critique yet..I love the ballsy move of the opening scene! You really kick the reader in the gut and make them ask for more..cant wait to finish this! .

A dispatcher said into the line, “Sister Mara, Sister Judith is calling for you. Would you like to take this call?”
Mara couldn’t help but smile. “Yes,” she replied, and waited for the dispatcher to connect them. She heard a click, then silence. “Judith?”
“Mara,” Judith said. She sounded tense. “Did you get my message?”
“I did. I forgive you.”
“Oh, good.” Mara could hear the relief in Judith’s voice. “Would you like to see me at dinner?”
Mara beamed. “I’d like that very much.”
Judith made sounds of happiness on the other line, tittering nonsense to hide her relief.
