Chapter 1:- Write to the Heart
I was a child when I started writing in earnest. Visiting my grandmother in a small town in western North Carolina I suddenly had to write when she fell ill.
I wrote about what was in my heart--my fear and trepidation--and masked it thinly in the guise of a simple fantasy story.

The greatest advice I can possibly give you is that you find YOUR story, YOUR characters and write them out feeling their journey as your own. This is the true meaning of "write what you know."
