Oh my, I have the same name as one of the characters in the story. That makes me feel as if I'm living in the story too, great work here! I can't stop reading it. I'm itching to get to book 2. .

This story has been pulling on my heart strings. I have spent the last three days reading it none stop, only taking breaks when I had to work haha. It got me so caught up in the moments of the story, I felt like I could really feel the characters emotions. Wow, I can't wait to see where it goes next!!.

Nice story! It always made me curious after I read it chapter by chapter and somehow my spirit goes up after finished reading one chapter. Each chapter like somehow taught me not too give up. I like this story. Thanks for the story Takatsu! .

I opened my eyes.

Something was different about the field today.

Something in pink was shining under the sun.
It was an odd sight.

I first thought it was a part of the basketball court.

Then I realized what it was. Tears in my eyes.

The pink chalk was clearly defined,
drawn carefully on the court below.
Wide curves, broad curls, threading in and out.

It was a giant birthday cake, and in the middle was a simple message.

It pierced my heart suddenly,
sending aching rivets of pain throughout my body.

I clutched at where my heart would be. I could hardly breath.

Was this what you planned all along? Aoi…

Tears threatened to overflow.
She made this all last night?

It was beautiful. This was such a beautiful scene.
It didn’t deserve to be happening now.

She was in danger. She risked her life to do this for me.

I wanted to scream. Where was she?
