Oh my, I have the same name as one of the characters in the story. That makes me feel as if I'm living in the story too, great work here! I can't stop reading it. I'm itching to get to book 2. .

This story has been pulling on my heart strings. I have spent the last three days reading it none stop, only taking breaks when I had to work haha. It got me so caught up in the moments of the story, I felt like I could really feel the characters emotions. Wow, I can't wait to see where it goes next!!.

Nice story! It always made me curious after I read it chapter by chapter and somehow my spirit goes up after finished reading one chapter. Each chapter like somehow taught me not too give up. I like this story. Thanks for the story Takatsu! .

Chapter 26:- Phone Call
The shrine was close to the school, it was only a five minute walk.
But feet pounding, I got there within two.

The trees around were getting dense,
light becoming scarce beyond the cluttered leaves,
but I saw the clearing up ahead.

I could see the main entrance to the shrine's yard.

We used to come here to make wishes together.

Out of breath, I reached the front and gave the heavy gates a push.
It was locked. I cursed and shook the gates.

God had forsaken me.
It wouldn't budge.

Swearing, I jumped and struggled to haul myself over the top.
Every muscle burned and protested
but I dropped over on the other side,
landing on my feet hard.

My heels would be a bit sore.

But it didn't matter, I was in.
