Oh my, I have the same name as one of the characters in the story. That makes me feel as if I'm living in the story too, great work here! I can't stop reading it. I'm itching to get to book 2. .

This story has been pulling on my heart strings. I have spent the last three days reading it none stop, only taking breaks when I had to work haha. It got me so caught up in the moments of the story, I felt like I could really feel the characters emotions. Wow, I can't wait to see where it goes next!!.

Nice story! It always made me curious after I read it chapter by chapter and somehow my spirit goes up after finished reading one chapter. Each chapter like somehow taught me not too give up. I like this story. Thanks for the story Takatsu! .

I saw it coming.

“Aoi!!” I heard my voice scream.

I saw her heels slipping off the curb;
I saw her falling backwards.

I screamed again.

I was halfway across the street,
still running towards her,
but my legs wouldn’t move any faster.

I tried. I desperately tried.
If I could try harder.
A bit more time.
I could catch her. I could save her.

Then the headlights cast a heavenly glow on her.

On the girl I love.

Aoi’s white summer dress was floating,
glowing like an angel’s robes.
She was suspended in mid-air, falling, falling slowly.
Her arms were graceful.
It looked like she was drifting upon a cloud.

I could see her eyes wide now.

Frightened.

And I wasn’t there to hold her.
