Oh my, I have the same name as one of the characters in the story. That makes me feel as if I'm living in the story too, great work here! I can't stop reading it. I'm itching to get to book 2. .

This story has been pulling on my heart strings. I have spent the last three days reading it none stop, only taking breaks when I had to work haha. It got me so caught up in the moments of the story, I felt like I could really feel the characters emotions. Wow, I can't wait to see where it goes next!!.

Nice story! It always made me curious after I read it chapter by chapter and somehow my spirit goes up after finished reading one chapter. Each chapter like somehow taught me not too give up. I like this story. Thanks for the story Takatsu! .

Chapter 90:- Aftermath
“Sorry.” I said again, this time to Aoi’s parents.

They looked up at me and her father gave me a weak smile.

Her mom however looked really upset.
She opened her mouth to say something but clamped her lips back together.

I remembered she was the one who told me to take care of Aoi.
I failed to keep my promise. I wished for her to yell at me.
For her to be silent was torture.

Her father gave me a brief nod before leaving.
With his arms around his wife supporting her grieving frame,
they shambled off down the hall. They looked like they had just lost everything.

Their precious daughter.

I too had just lost the world to me.

We could only hope that she would wake up again and be able to smile and laugh again.

Aoi…
