The light darkness that had begun to consume the area had darkened further, the sun now far behind the large stone tower. Rachel had continued to climb, occasionally peering below where she guessed the young man was. She was so high though, that if he was there, she wouldn’t notice, and she felt the same was true for him as well.
She was pretty far up, her town smaller in appearance than when she had started to climb.
“Good thing neither of us have a fear of heights,” she laughed nervously to herself.
She could see that she was nearing the spot above.
‘Maybe an hour more?’ she thought.
