"Tuffara, he love's you!" I said shocked by her words. "You can't give up just because you're not human, I mean you can fly!"
Hmm. "Yes but you Lain have this well you're fearless on the battle field!"
"Er...no that's what I call being stupidly reckless!" I said feeling my face flush from embarrassment.
"Well whatever you call it that's something only a human can have and I wish I had it too."
"But you're a gargoyle, you can scare someone by just looking at em!" I hoped she didn't think I was calling her ugly cause she was beautiful.
"All the things humans take for granted like being outside with the sun's warmth on your face, driving a car, being in a store...I wish I could do those things for one day." She turned away and spoke in a small voice. "Lain you've kept Lapis's heart happy and being human for once is not a burden for him any longer thanks to you."
Tuffara started making her way upstairs and outside to the balcony. The other gargoyles were coming back as the sun was about to rise I seen Adam headed towards us and my heart started to race as I wondered how he was going to break up with me.
