Chapter 11:- First Sight
"Whoa! I'm sorry you're having a rough day. I shouldn't have snapped at you..."
He gently turned me back to face him and he lifted my chin with his finger and thumb and looked into my eyes.
I gasped when I realized who I'd been talking to and I felt my face flush from embarrassment.
It's Adam! He must think I'm an idiot!
"I-I'm fine..." I lied. His eyes were so mesmerizing that I made myself look away.
"Where did you get your necklace?" He asked pointing to the blue jewel that hung from my neck.
"Oh. This?..." I said looking down at it. "Some guy gave it to my mom at one of her art exhibits and she gave it to me."
"It's beautiful..." he said smiling down at me. I fidgeted under his gaze as my heart began to race standing in his presence.
Why is he making me feel this way?
