Chapter 49:- Friend or Foe?
I got up and walked down to the kitchen again to find empty. Adam left a note saying he was going out for coffee and would be back soon.
I didn't wanna intrude so I packed my stuff up as Adam walked into his room holding two paper cups in each hand.
″Why are you leaving?″He asked handing me a cup of hot chocolate.
″I don't wanna be a burden to you.″ I said swinging the black backpack over my shoulder and heading for the door. Adam blocked my path again.
″Please stay Lain, your not a burden to me.″He said sincerly.
″Adam I've sabatashed or ran away from every relationship & I don't wanna hurt you.″
″Then stop running.″ He said, taking the backpack from me. ″I want you here Lain and I mean that.″
″Ok.″ I said sitting on the edge of the bed I took a sip of the coco and it burned my lips.
″Your car's ready to be picked up.″ He said sounding more cheerful.
″About time!″ I said standing up. ″Can you give me a ride to pick it up please?″ I asked him.
″I already picked it up for you, it's in the guarage right next to mine.″He said.
I got up and hurried to the guarage and it wasn't my Slug Bug it was a blue Suberu WRX.
″Wow!″ I said getting in the car. ″I don't deserve this...thank you so much!″I said getting out and hugging him.
