The ManBoy
You’ve known them, and I have dated them – manboys. Deceivingly they look much like a man. They can grow facial hair, drive a car, and some can even hold a job. Then that’s where the ‘man’ stops. Underneath this appearance of a man is the boy. They range from the ages of 5 – 12 years old, which is depicted completely on their interaction with you in a relationship. For example if an argument pursues, the 5 year old stomps offs and slams doors. The 12 year old comes back with some flippant remark that has nothing to do with the argument, then stomps off and slams the door. Some of them are more man than boy. These are the ones with jobs, car payments, and willingly pay for dinner. However, they are none the less frustrating when you are trying to be in an adult relationship with one. Ultimately, the difference between a man and a manboy –one knows how to take care of a woman and the other wants only to be taken care of by a woman.
