Chapter 1:- The Dumbest Boy Ever
Aaron was thinking that he had to be positively, absolutely the dumbest person to have ever lived.
Sadly, his entire family was a collection of genius entities. His IQ was, according to his mother - Dr. Patricia Quint - an immeasurable null value.
His father, Cornelius Stubbs was an Aeronautics Engineer. He was often frustrated by his son's inability to even comprehend what an Aeronautical Engineer is...
"Aaron, please... work with me son. What is pi?"
Cornelius watched as his toe head son struggled through the second hour of math homework.
Aaron rubbed his head, then scratched his bum, then stared into space. It was exhausting.
Aaron Stubbs was 17 years old. He was on his second attempt at the tenth grade and well on his way to his third.
He would have benefitted from a tutor, but his proud family of intellectuals would not hear of it.
"Why don't you just give up, Dad? He will never get it! Ha!" Anastasia's loud outburst made Aaron turn completely red with embarrassment.
Anastasia. She was the golden one. The child that made everything look effortless.
Already in grad level studies of Psychology at the age of 18, Aaron paled in comparison to her beauty and brains... just about everything. Even athletics.
When she entered the muted tones of the urban contemporary living room, Aaron could have sworn it got a bit brighter.
"Patience Ana." Cornelius smiled to his lovely daughter.
Aaron sneered.
"What do you want anyway, Ana?" Aaron shouted since she was in the middle of his study time with his father. After all, it was the only time that dear old Dad ever paid him any mind.
"Nothing. Just to be around your brilliance!" with that, another high pitched laugh followed - an extended version.
"Really, Ana. What is it darling? You know we need total concentration to get through this problem."
"Well Daddy..." here it comes... "I need you to come with me to pick up some new desk furniture for my dorm room..."
This would be Ana's first year staying on campus and marked the start of her freedom.
"Ohhhh, I completely forgot." Cornelius rubbed his balding head with a sigh.
Aaron knew where this was going. Anytime the bony bitch crooked her janky finger, the parents went running.
With that, Aaron gathered his books and headed for his bedroom, not wanting to hear the words that signified rejection from his parental unit.
"3.14 son.."
Aaron heard a call from behind him and didn't dare look to see the disgust of his father and smirk of his sister.
He simply walked straight ahead to his place of tranquility. His bedroom.
He slammed the door to accentuate his disdain.
