Chapter 1:- One
They sparkle, high up in the skies.
Along with the moon.
To us, they are mere twinkling spots, stuck up there in the night sky, placed methodically by God.
But they are much more than that.
No, a star has life.
It feels, breathes, and yearns just like we do. Each star represents a soul, one that got tired of aimlessly wandering the earth.
A star is not a ghost, but the spirit. Stars watch over us, protect us from the darkness.
They can love, can hate.
Yuna became a star when she was twenty-two. After that, she was frozen in time. She'd stay that way forever.
She didn't quite remember what had happened to her, just that she felt the pain, that searing, burning pain that ripped through her skull.
The next thing she knew, she was staring down at earth.
She saw herself glowing, saw the massive amount of light that she emitted. But she was scared, and alone in the sky. The next star was fifty miles away. The night sky was gigantic, filled with billions and billions of stars.
