Chapter 1:- Where?
Where was I?
That was my first thought.
I was on my back staring at a bright blue sky. I blinked a couple times as my eyes adjusted to the sunlight. I turned my head to the side and my breath caught in my throat.
My surroundings looked nothing like where I could have sworn I was a couple of minutes ago.
Everything looked weirdly colorful and had this glowing vibe to it.
It was beautiful. Nothing like back home.
The streets I was used to walking on were made of cement not dirt like the ground i was laying on. Colorful trees surrounded me instead of the houses and buildings I pass through on my way to school.The sky was bright. A lot brighter than the usual California sky.
And it was really clear
My second thought was, Did I get kidnapped?
I sat up quickly, my arm scraping on the ground. There was no one around. I relaxed momentarily. Then I realized again that I had no clue where I was. I looked around again trying to find something familiar.
My backpack was by my side, but other than that ...
There was nothing.
Slowly, I got up.
