Chapter 1:- -
Thorn slender she appeared to be,
In truth she was a desert flower,
Fierce beauty there for all to see,
Tho she did not blossom in an hour.
She could have had a life of ease
With naught but honeycakes and tea,
All stress then placed on how to please,
But that's not how her life would be.
So life was brutal, fierce and wild
Black haired and dark eyed girl of sun,
Born of a princess was this child
Her life was lived just for fun.
The father was a desert prince
Who ruled his people fair and strong.
His punishments might make one wince
Some always felt that they'd been wronged.
Three were exiled from out the band,
Their excesses both strange and cruel.
Revenge they soon would have at hand
Against the one who'd fairly ruled.
They hired an assassin band
To kill the prince and all the men.
The crim'nals would not show their hand
As these foul fiends came from their den.
