Chapter 3:- They've Taken Them
He wanted the Princess Angela to fall in love with him, too.
When he got there it was a horrible sight. All of the guards were lying all around. Everyone was asleep in the castle. The King, the Queen, and the pretty Princess Angela were missing.
There was a note. It said that the witch had taken all them into a tower into the woods and that no one should try to get them back.
Willy was upset and told himself that he had to do something.
He ran into the woods and went back to the place where he first met the witch.
There it was. The tower. He could hear the voices of the King and his family inside. They sounded afraid. The tower was big and dark, covered with bats and bugs.
Willy was getting close to the moot around the tower. He did not know how he would get across the moot or how he would get the door opened.
“What are you doing here monster?” He heard the witch’s mean voice from behind him.
He turned around to see her. When he did, she was standing there with her magic stick.
Willy was thinking of what he could do to the witch to get rid of her and save his Princess.
On the side of the witch, Willy saw some berries. They were some of the strawberries that Willy had with him that day he was turned into a monster.
Willy got an idea, and called out to the witch, “Dear Old Lady, I brought you some berries. Will you eat them? I brought them back for you.”
The witch looked down and saw the basket. It was dark, so she did not see that the berries were old.
Willy knew that the old berries could make the witch sick, or at least they would taste so nasty, she wouldn’t pay attention to him trying to get her magic stick.
When the witch bent down to get the berries, Willy charged her.
The witch fell on the ground. Her long, black dress tangled around her feet.
Willy grabbed the magic stick and broke it.
Every thing that the witch had made changed. The tower disappeared, the King, Queen and the pretty Princess Angela we standing in the woods.
The witch was so angry, but without her magic stick, she could not hurt anyone again.
Willy was so happy to see the royal family freed.
He ran to Princess Angela.
“Willy, thank you for saving us.” As Willy the monster stood in front of the Princess Angela, he started to change.
He was turning back into his old self. As he changed, the Princess smiled at him.
“Let me walk you back to the Castle. I would like to spend more time with you.” Willy asked.
“Young man, thank you for saving my family. Won’t you stay for the party?” The King asked Willy this time.
“Yes, I will stay.”
By the time the got back to the castle, all of the guards and guests were awake again.
Everyone in the Royal City was so happy. The music began to play and everyone danced.
Willy danced with the Princess Angela all night.
When the sun came up and the party was ending, Willy told Princess Angela that he loved her.
He asked her if she would marry him.
The pretty Princess Angela said yes.
They were married and you guessed it, they lived happily ever after.
